The Turkish Bosphorus Straits have been traversed in record time in a unique 12 hour bridge simulator command assessment course held in Hampshire, United Kingdom. The idea of the pilot course was to test seafarers in a realife, realtime scenario to ensure safety onboard and to learn key bridge team management skills. The aim is to go live with the course shortly, with a goal of training the world’s mariners in much tougher yet more realistic situations.
